She freaking rocks.  Debating whether to go to San Diego to see her in concert in late June...

Since my last posting on October 27th, several things have happened:
1.  DSL works
2.  I'm now a Sox fan
3.  I've acquired a nice ring and a beautiful beautiful fiance

One more!

As Jeannie said: the ring + nekkid man + dog = happy life for wendy

Families are meeting for the first time in NY next weekend.

MIA

Moved to a new apartment over a month ago and have had much grief with the DSL carrier--hence, my long absence from xanga. In the last month, I've been to Vegas (lost $400), NY for my cousin's wedding, Chicago, and Mexico.  I am currently brown as brown can be, but I'll go into details later.  My point for this quick entry is this...

What are y'all doing for the alumni constitution amendments?  I'm getting more confused than ever reading all the InCircle posts and I'd like for my friends to tell me what they understand.

I <3 Vegas

I had originally promised myself that I would stay away from new york for a summer, to go from Memorial Day to Labor Day without coming home for a weekend to hang out in order to firmly establish my life in Utah.  (okay, i came home in order to fly out with mom and brother to italy, but it doesn't count b/c it was less than 24 hours.)  I've been enormously successful in my endeavor, so much so that I am extending my absence from new york by another month.  I'm going to Sin City over Labor Day weekend!  I've fully accepted that this trip will result in both my financial and corporeal ruin--staying at Mandalay Bay (can you say man-made beach?), reservations at Nobu and Delmonico's, table at PUR.  Fecking glorious.

Next trip to NY is scheduled for early October for my cousin's wedding.  I'm bringing a friend.

the funnier moments from itlay part I

i have no idea who that is supposed to be a statue of but there's my brother mimicking his pose and me sneaking into the frame. (museo nazionale romano)

i am one of niobe's children getting shot by one of artemis or apollo's arrows.

mom is so bored (and jet lagged) that she is falling asleep at the museum!

mom is so happy we're leaving the museum.

mom is hating us for making her climb the gajillion steps leading to the top of the cuppola of st peter's basilica

mom has keeled (sp?) over from the effort.

she got pissed at andrew for taking the above picture of her

ended the night at a hookah bar.  i can't believe we got her to take a puff
